Use as a well established gel filtration medium for desalting and buffer exchange of biomolecules >30 000 molecular weight. Sephadex™ G50 Superfine Media's small bead size gives higher efficiency.

  • For purposes of determining maximum flowrate, beads behave as rigid spheres according to Darcy's Law
  • Working pH range 2 to 10
  • Particle size range for wet beads 20 to 80μm
  • Bed volume in distilled water 9 to 11mL/g
