For optimizing purification of histidine-tagged proteins at laboratory scale

IMAC Sepharose™ 6 Fast Flow is prepacked in 20mL HiPrep columns for greater scale up. The medium consists of 90μm beads of highly crosslinked agarose, to which a chelating group has been covalently coupled. This group may be charged with suitable metal ions, specific for your target protein.The bead size enables high flow properties; low metal ion leakage retains activity of the purified protein.

  • Chemical stability (uncharged medium) one week, 40°C: 0.01 M HCl, 0.1 M NaOH; 12 hr.: 1M NaOH, 70% acetic acid; 1 hr. tested 2% SDS; 30 min. tested 30% 2-propanol
  • Stability (pH, w/ uncharged medium w/ metal ion): 3 to 12 (long-term), 2 to 14 (short-term)
  • Storage/Temperature: 20% ethanol; 4° to 30°C
