TAE684 (NVP-TAE684) is a synthetic potent and selective inhibitor of the kinase ALK as well as FLT3 and TIE2. It is 100 times more selective for ALK than InsR, and is effective at inhibiting the NPM-ALK fusion protein responsible for survival and proliferation of anaplastic large-cell lymphomas (ALCLs).
