It is used as a raw material in the manufacture of plastics, polyamide resins, urethane and brake fluid. It is also used for carbondioxide and hydrogen sulfide gas scrubbing mediums. Furthermore, it serves as an epoxy curing agent.

Notes
Air and light sensitive. Hygroscopic. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents and strong acids.
