Description
Isolate and cultivate pathogenic Neisseria species with Thermo Scientific™ Neisseria Selective Agar, a medium specially formulated with a peptone mixture that includes meat and plant enzymatic digests and the presence of starch to ensure that toxic metabolites produced by Neisseria are absorbed. Phosphate buffers are also included to prevent changes in pH due to amine production that would affect the survival of the organism.
