Designed for the magnetic separation of F4/80+ cells by positive selection. It has been optimized for the isolation of F4/80+ cells from mouse bone marrow or splenocytes utilizing a biotinylated Anti-Mouse F4/80 antibody and streptavidin-coated magnetic beads.

  • F4/80+ cells are bound by antibody and then magnetic beads
  • When placed in a magnetic field, the undesired cells can be separated from F4/80+ cells by decanting
  • After positive selection, the purity of selected cells can be verified by staining with Anti-Mouse F4/80, clone BM8 and Anti-Mouse CD11b, clones M1/70
