Description

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • Also known as: NKG2; NKG2A; CD159A
  • NKG2A and NKG2C are type II transmembrane proteins with extracellular C-type lectin domains.
  • These proteins heterodimerize with CD94 to form complexes that recognize HLA-E as ligand.
  • The NKG2A/CD94 complex delivers an inhibitory signal resulting from ITIMs within the NKG2A cytoplasmic domain.
  • NKG2C/CD94 provides an activating signal due to association with the ITAM-containing DAP12 adapter protein.
  • These complexes are expressed on NK and T cell subsets.
  • The NKG2A/CD159a/KLRC1 insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
