Hematoxylin is a dye used to stain cell nuclei. Hematoxylin is commonly combined with eosin for H&E histological staining and is a component of the Papanicolaou stain used in cytology. Hematoxylin can be used with other fixatives to stain muscle striations, fibrin, myelin and elastin. Can also be used for H&E staining of intact tissues.Specifications
