Description

Packaged in two Stericlin™ bags before autoclaving for a bottle exterior free from microbial contaminants. BD™ Fluid A, Double Wrapped is a diluting and rinsing fluid for sterility tests of pharmaceutical products according to the membrane filtration method.

Fluid A is a diluting and rinsing fluid according to the United States and the European Pharmacopeias.

  • Used for dissolving materials in test and for rinsing sterile devices or materials
  • Releases contaminating organisms from the device or material in test without affecting their viability
  • Proteose Peptone No. 3 acts as a stabilizer for microorganisms, maintaining their viability
  • Terminally sterilized inside a USP infusion bottle with septum for sterile extraction
  • Sterile bottle packaged in two Stericlin™ bags for use in sterile production areas
