Beskrivning

The bulb condenser is suitable for condensing vapours from reaction mixtures and is usually used as a reflux condenser.

The bulb condenser is similar to the Liebig condenser. Its internal riser tube is constricted at equal distances, creating the typical spherical shape that gives it its name. Due to this shape, the cooling surface is larger than that of the Liebig condenser and generates greater steam turbulence.

  • The bulb condenser has a greater cooling surface than the Liebig condenser and thus higher cooling capacity
  • Two removable plastic olives for inlet and outlet of the cooling medium
  • Tight closure due to standard ground joint
