CD158a, clone HP-3E4, is derived from spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with activated NK lymphocytes and fused with SP2 myeloma cells.

CD158a recognizes a 58-kdalton (kDa) surface protein found on natural killer (NK) cells and on some CD4– T lymphocytes.
