Invitrogen™ Carbonic Anhydrase II Polyclonal Antibody

Description
In direct ELISAs, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Carbonic Anhydrase I, III, and XIII is observed and less than 1% cross-reactivity with rhCarbonic Anhydrase IV, VIII, IX, X, XII, and XIV is observed. Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
CA2 is one of several (at least 7) isozymes of carbonic anhydrase. Carbonic anhydrase catalyzes reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. Defects in this enzyme are associated with osteopetrosis and renal tubular acidosis.
