Ovalbumin Mouse anti-Chicken, Clone: 2D11, Invitrogen™
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Brand: Invitrogen HYB0990202
Description
HYB 099-02-02 is specific for native chicken ovalbumin (OA). Cross-reactivity with egg albumin from other species has not been tested. HYB 099-02-02 has been successfully used in ELISA procedures. HYB 099-02-02 shows high affinity for OA in its native form, but does not recognize denatured OA. HYB 099-02-02 can be used for immunoprecipitation of ovalbumin. HYB 099-02-02 is not suitable for western blotting procedures. The HYB 099-02-02 immunogen is OA isolated from chicken egg white, untreated. Epitope specificity differs from that of HYB 099-01-02 and HYB 099-09-02, as determined by inhibition ELISA. NOTE: Concentration is lot-dependent and can vary from 0.85-1.15 mg/mL
Ovalbumin (OA) from chicken egg white, in which it makes up about 60% of solids. OA is a globular monomer of molecular mass ∽45 kDa.
