The Ambion kit includes a M-MLV RT that maintains full RNase H activity for increased sensitivity of detection in RT-PCR experiments. Includes sufficient reagents for 50 reactions.

  • Quantitate transcripts from as little as 500fg total RNA—1/20th of a single cell
  • Fast, flexible RT step complete in 15 min.; use reaction temperatures up to 50°C
  • Compatible with TaqMan™, SYBR™ Green, and gel-based detection methods
  • Optimal reaction temperature: 42° to 50°C
  • Final product size: 7kb or less

MessageSensor is designed to provide unsurpassed results in the least amount of time. The kit contains a unique formulation of M-MLV RT developed for a single tube approach increasing lower-end reaction sensitivity. The reverse transcription step takes only 15 minutes, so you can go from RNA sample to PCR results in less than two hours.
