It is also used in the synthesis of cinnoline-fused cyclic enediyne, llycopodium alkaloids, (+)-nankakurine A and (+)-nankakurine B and 7-benzoyloxy-3-(2-nitrophenylseleno)-1,5-cyclodecadiyne.
