Applications
4-Fluoro-3-(trifluoromethyl)aniline is used in the synthesis of trifluoromethylated poly(phenylene oxide). It is used in the preparation of 2-[3-(4-fluoro-3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-ureido]-2-methyl-propionic acid methyl ester by reacting with 2-isocyanato-2-methyl-propionic acid methyl ester. It is also used as a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and dyes.
