Simple Reader™ is a solid-state microplate reader designed for rapid endpoint and kinetic absorbance measurements in ANSI/SBS-standard 96-well plates. With up to four LED channels, intuitive Absorbance 96 App control, and a footprint smaller than many lab notebooks, it delivers reliable optical density (OD) data wherever you need it in the lab.

Compact, Solid-State Design

The Simple Reader features 96 fixed detection units so all wells are measured without mechanical scanning. The solid-state design minimizes moving parts, supports a service life of up to 10 years (at ~4 hours/day use), and keeps the footprint small enough for any benchtop.

Parallel 96-Well Readout

All wells in a standard flat-bottom 96-well plate are read in parallel, improving reproducibility and shortening run times compared with scanning readers. Built-in self-tests at startup help verify performance before each experiment.
